NURTURING TALENT. INSPIRING ARTISTRY.

Our mission is to uphold the timeless classicism in carnatic music by training students through rigorous, traditional, and authentic style (patantharam), thus honoring the sacred legacy and rich lineage, handed down by gurus.

About Ranjani

Founded in Texas by Vidushi Sarada Karthik, who brings over 22+ years of teaching experience, Ranjani School of Music is dedicated to promoting and preserving Carnatic classical music across the United States. The school offers vocal lessons for students and adults starting age 4+. Classes are offered in person at the Plano location or on Zoom.

At Ranjani School of Music, we view Carnatic music as a lifelong journey of artistic expression. Our encouraging environment welcomes students of all ages, from young beginners taking their first musical steps to adult enthusiasts refining their craft.

To ensure individualized guidance, our group classes are intentionally kept small. This intimate setting provides the close mentorship and vocal feedback needed to build strong foundational skills and artistic confidence.

Our core curriculum is enriched by exclusive workshops with legendary and talented guest artists. These masterclasses give students direct exposure to master musicians, deepening their understanding of classical nuance and performance aesthetics.

At Ranjani School of Music, our greatest pride lies in the remarkable journey of our students. Over the years, we have had the privilege of nurturing scores of talented learners—shaping eager beginners into confident musicians.

Our students consistently shine on diverse stages. From local venues and cultural festivals across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to prominent music sabhas in major cities across the USA and sacred stages in India, their performances reflect deep discipline, artistic maturity, and soulful expression.

Our students continue to earn high praise from senior artists, critics, and rasikas alike—a true testament to their dedication and the rich lineage they carry forward.
